Funding boost for the AiLECS Lab

The Minister for Home Affairs Karen Andrews announced on March 22, 2022 that $4.4 million from the Proceeds of Crime Confiscated Assets Account will be allocated to the Australian Federal Police, in order to enhance and expand the AiLECS Lab. This will enable us to further our research and development work into the next generation of intelligent technology to assist in the fight against serious crime.
